Fits Briggs & Stratton models 254422, 254427, 286707, 28A707, 28B702, 28B707, 28M707, 28N707 & 28Q777; John Deere models 65, 66, 68, 100, 108, 111, 111H, 112L, D130, D140, D150, D160, D170, GX85, L111, L118, LA120, LA135, LA145, LA155, LA165, LA175, SX85 & Z425. For 11 & 12 HP engines. For single & twin cylinder aluminum block engines. When used with metal gear #269-1221, this starter will replace Briggs & Stratton #s 593934 & 693551. Uses part #269-1259 drive kit. Some units require a flat washer for spacing for proper alignment with flywheel. When replacing Briggs & Stratton # 497595, verify length of housing before purchasing for proper fitment. Striking or disassembling starter will void warranty.
